Erykah and Caroline helped me throw together an amazing Thanksgiving party at the last minute! My home wasn't available and they found me a place quickly that was within budget. What stood out to us was handling stress of the wedding, coordinating everything during the wedding and guiding us throughout the wedding day. My husband and I were lucky to stumble upon Golden Events when looking for day-of-coordinators. We didn't have a big budget to have a team do everything for our wedding but we wanted help on the day-of to make our wedding run smoothly and take some of the load off of us.

It was easy to schedule time with Caroline and Erykah from Golden Events, and they were happy to meet with us to talk about our needs, vision, and for us to feel out if we felt like they were a good match or not. A part of our consideration in finding the right day of planners was how inclusive they were and how supported they made us feel as a gay couple. Our answer was yes, both Caroline and Erykah were warm and excited for us. They gave us confidence that in choosing them we would get the support we needed to make our wedding day as easy as possible and that they would be fun to work with.

Leading up to our wedding they met with us to go over specific details that we had in mind. They had a detailed form for us to fill out to capture all the important logistics. They were responsive and communicative when we had questions that came up.

We had a specific request to install ceiling drapery in the venue. They executed this seamlessly. This was a core decoration for the event, so we wanted to make sure it was done correctly. It was perfect!

Leading up to the day, we realized we had more than we could handle so we asked if they could take care of our very simple bud vase flower arrangements. Erykah and Caroline were happy to support and did an amazing job.

Both Caroline and Erykah are fantastic. They are kind, easy to work with, organized, and detail oriented. They helped make our wedding day magical, and we are so grateful for their support. Thank you!
